SURGERIES
Surgery Facilities
Surgery facilities are available at both our premises, and we have two consulting rooms at each for examinations.
Radiology
We have facilities for taking X-rays
Anaesthesia
We have a variety of modern equipment and drugs and match the most appropriate combination for each patient.
Operations
We carry out all types of operations from neutering cats and dogs to repairing complex fractured bones using metal pins plates and screws.
Observation/Recovery
We have a variety of kennels to suit various size of pet. Our policy, however, is to try to avoid hospitalising patients. We strongly believe that in most situations pets are happier and more comfortable in their own home. Patients for pre-planned surgery are admitted between 8.30am and 10am and are usually discharged the same evening provided they are able to walk.
Dentistry
Dental work is carried out at both surgeries. As you can imagine some people need frequent trips to the dentist despite brushing our teeth regularly so no wonder some of our pets need attention! However, unlike humans, animals have to be anaesthetised to allow us to do any work on their teeth.
Other procedures
We can also perform cryosurgery and acupuncture.
